Re: RIP Mike Noble

Hi Crash,
Good to chat again too :)
The original artwork is black and white, and I'm not sure who colourised it for the DVD booklet. I doubt it was Mike, but I could be wrong. Mike did do colour artwork for other comic strips though, mostly for Gerry Anderson shows like Captain Scarlet.

RIP Mike Noble

Not been on here in a long while, but I found out today that Mike Noble passed away on 15th November 2018, just. He was one of my favourite comic strip artists and drew all but the first of the Star Fleet comic strips that appeared in Look In magazine. I am very lucky indeed to actually own two page...

Re: God Bless Youtube!

I know it's late, but nice work Felice!

I don't watch Dr.Who, well not since Tom Baker (the best Doctor evah) ceased playing him.
Yes, I am that old folks.
Although I have caught a few David Tennant episodes, and he was pretty good too.

Re: 2016 - Star Fleet Vinyl

Hi everyone!
Star Fleet figures!?
Gimme!
Makara needs her cloak and sword, as well as hair.
One can only hope they do the rest of the main cast.

Re: Alien Battlecruiser from Above

I remember scanning a line drawing of it, but that might just have been of the side and front/back. Yeah it's a very techno-organic design, very sinister and yet magnificent. I could easily imagine myself dominating the galaxy and persecuting entire races and planets, whilst at it's helm. I tried to...

Re: Alien Battlecruiser from Above

Hi Crash, I haven't checked but are there any any photos in the encyclopedia that might help?
There's that 3D model that someone who's name escapes me made as well.

Re: Japanese Pilot

Interstellar spoiler alert!
I know what you're trying to describe, but Interstellar isn't the best film to use. It's true sci-fi, up to a certain point in the film, but when he ends up in that weird 5th dimension, it jumps to science fantasy for me.
Still a good film, my fella likes it too.

Re: Adventures in Scanning...

That looks really good Crash, quite a bit of work there, but it really makes viewing and locating images much easier. I couldn't see any difference between the "on" and "off" links though, they both looked like the captions were on. But to be honest, I'd have them on anyway. Grea...
