Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

Well it's not going too badly, 55+ supporters and only a third of the way through the initial 60 days. If it keeps going like this it could hit 100 with days to spare, but I'm probably tempting fate here! First time round it hit 79, so I think it seems likely to perform better whatever else happens....

US Go Buy

Has anyone ever used this service, or do you know of anything similar? Trying to figure out a way to get the modern Voltron toys over here...

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

Thanks, maybe you could flip the page so the CGI imagery is at the top or split the two versions up so it's obvious which is from the current project? The project link's changed too, the old page is still there though and I found I could still edit the comments so I've pointed to the new one from th...

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

Thanks Felice. Crash, this should be of use to you if you want to put the images up on my album on the site: http://www.sfxb.co.uk/For%20Upload/SFXBLegoIdeas.zip - it includes the Lego Digital Designer file that would allow people to reproduce it too. I've also created one here: https://www.flickr.c...

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, seconds away, round two! This has been put up much faster than I was anticipating, so the front page of the site hasn't caught up with it just yet, but I'll update it in due course. I'm hoping the new imagery will give it a boost, and I'll be making the model itself and the pic...

Re: Blast from the past!

Well the sheer ease of getting stuff online now is incredible and I suspect a lot of people just don't bother with their own sites, they just use the existing sites as a springboard for their content - which makes a lot of sense, if I'd started pulling mine together now I'd probably have used some s...

Blast from the past!

I accidentally came across this, which I wrote a shade over 15 years ago! I'd completely forgotten about it! The site must have been quite young at that point, the conversations mention the DVD release 6 years later! I think I was still on dial-up back then!

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

Wow, Felice on Blender, where did that come from?! It's a great minifigure adaptation. It really is. Unfortunately gone are the days when I had the time to mess around with that sort of thing, but a lot of people do use renders of Lego models on Lego Ideas. I was just old school in wanting to build ...

Apologies to YouTubers various!

I've done a touch of spamming of my LEGO Ideas project on the more popular Star Fleet videos, my own included of course - no idea if the comments will stick with links in them, but anyway...! I've only got 30 days or so left and it isn't easy getting support it seems, maybe it's just too obscure the...
