Uh oh... QUOTECoppermine critical error:Unable to connect to database !MySQL said: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql.xbomber.co.uk' (101)Reloading the page worked. I guess since you said this site is hosted on Dreamhost, seeing this isn't too surprising. I tried hosting a moderately-active for...

I didn't do a whole lot of Star Fleet stuff this weekend, but I did make and upload an illustration of the X-Bomber crew patch to the gallery. And a question for Crash: did you at some point change the image thumbnailing options in Coppermine to not create PNG files? Some of the earlier files I uplo...

(Crash Override @ Jan. 17 2010,14:59)QUOTEMake a torrent of it. There's already a rip of the UK DVDs I think. No way would I be making a torrent of it. Not yet, anyway. Maybe in another year or so? Pirating Star Fleet so soon after the DVD's release seems like a terrible idea since it means fewer of...

(Shane @ Jan. 17 2010,11:06)QUOTEThey ruined the image quality of the original during the conversion process though. As Crash states - The picture quality of the X Bomber DVDs are very good.Yeah, on top of the inconsistent color and fuzzy and sometimes warbly transfers, my absolute biggest complain...

I was thinking the same thing, actually. The sound effects were weak or missing in some parts, too. Surely those had to be from in-production edits and not the final version of the show, right? Granted, I haven't seen the Japanese release, but it just couldn't be that bad...Anyone here have the Japa...

URGENT:: CALLING ALL STAR FLEET FANS

I think efforts would be better served at just getting the existing DVD released in a region-free format, rather than in a whole separate US kit. Region encoding (and maybe PAL vs NTSC) is really the only thing that makes the UK version any different than a would-be US version. With region-free disc...

And in Safari, you can save it from the Activity window by double-clicking it (or option-double-click it if it tries to play in the window).Yeah, saving it was the first thing I did too, even before watching it.

Yeah, I pilfered through my old hard drive and uploaded a bunch of stuff over the weekend too, and spent time making some new stuff (namely the logos). The gallery is shaping up pretty nicely so far! I have a bunch of 3D renders and tons of screenshot of the show (376 in this one folder I have here,...

Star Fleet Logos in High-Res

With Crash's new community-driven gallery going online a few days ago, I was inspired to finish illustrating a few more of the Star Fleet logos. I actually don't think I had shared these here before, but I'd used at least the Imperial Alliance and EDF ones on my Imperial Fighter and Mars Astrofighte...
