Crash Override's Game - Work in Progress

Righty where do I start. Sprites are traditionally 3D right? but hey if the hat fits...Don't worry there's stacks of powerups later on. I think you might have a point there though about them going off in the wrong direction. I thought about having 'em go slowly straight down never really got 'round ...

Crash Override's Game - Work in Progress

Hi, Mr T. Thanks for the input. I've tested it a bit so I hope it does the business for you. It'll be difficult to get a proper sample-tested non-alpha version ready within a week or so since all my volunteer playtesters are all on exam leave so you've got plenty of time for that.

Crash Override's Game - Work in Progress

Putting the Dai-X into subsequent versions of the program would be the obvious way to go now you mention it. I might just take you up on that. I usually find that it's making the graphics that's the most taxing thing anyway. What I did have planned after having a few weeks away from my PC was to do ...

TV detector vans (the telly tax)

Sounds like a loada crap to me, not to put too fine a point on it. The mechanical difference between a licenced and a non-licenced TV is zero. There's nothing that you can physically detect on a radar or whatever. If they do find you just try to disguise your TV as a microwave or something.

Crash Override's Game - Work in Progress

Hey!!! Thanks! No I've not given up yet. My School has a sort of embargo against any sort of programming and when they found out about the X-Project I was running they tried some underhanded tactics to put it out of action. So that made me that bit more determined. Also I have 7 AS Exams this week s...

Whither sci-fi on TV?

You must admit though the last few episodes have been pretty good despite the 46.3 billion continuity errors courtesy of Mr Okuda and his incompetant bunch of dimwits. But I do think Andromeda is a bit more clever than any of those, the script itself is evidence of that. Oh and their engineer as well.

Traffic Police???

"Strange how you can get a postively ancient arcade game from the dawn of video-gaming to run okay these days but not something released barely 10 years ago, isn't it?"Dunno its just luck of the draw as to how they were programmed and whether windows likes the look of them.So how did you get on? Did...

Whither sci-fi on TV?

oh! watch out. That sounded like a bad word against Andromeda. Has anyone noticed that Enterprise is getting marginally better than how it started out? The folks at school are waiting for the new episode featuring the borg to get screened. That could either be very good or very, very poor (fingers c...
