laser discs going for sale
Shane's done clips of his, yes. It ought to be very do-able, and I know a gizmo that'd do it. I may well be getting one to play with at some point Darren's captured mp3s of the UK series, and he has loads of screen grabs but I'm not sure which version they're from...

Oh. My. God. Brad! THAT Brad! Where have you BEEN! You and Messr Critten need to get your heads together! Stone the bloomin' crows, that's a cracking effort at the fighter - hopefully the X Bomber model's still around somewhere? Feel free to lob stuff at my inbox and I'll duly add your pics to the G...

Appeal to Simon
I find it quite odd that certain volumes of these sorts of series are harder to find than others - the US version of Star Fleet volume 3 was a so-and-so to get hold of, and always seemed to be quite beaten up. Wonder what the story was with that... Oh, Simon, going to Messenger you about something...

PC Game: Homeworld
Wow. By inverting the local tachyon field and creating a quantum flux I've actually managed to make Homeworld, bought in anticipation of my new machine, run on the old one! Talk about going through hoops, but it was well worth it - the thing's gorgeous, if a bit slow at the moment! I can see why the...

New article on-line
Grooving along with Fat Boy Slim I decided to get this sorted out tonight. Out of the blue, I came across the gentleman responsible for the Star Fleet and Terrahawks (amongst others) annuals - Paul Green. You can read his comments about the process of doing the illustrations here:http://www.sfxb.co....

New PC - Advice please!
Yeah, it's a lot, and I wouldn't be able to do it had that nice gentleman not crashed into my car back in September... The scary thing is, it's roughly the same amount I forked out for my current home machine back in 95 and this processor will be running 10 times as fast, with more than 10 times the...

Remember the Commodore 64?
I didn't have a Commodore or Spectrum from that era - I had the BBC B, then a 128k Master, and then finally an Amiga. So I was into the likes of Elite and Exile, Stryker's Run, Repton etc...

£2.99?! Well that's definitely one for my wish list - I played the original PC Battlezone and enjoyed it a lot, it'll be budget range as well. So let's see, that's Battlezone 2, Homeworld, Homeworld: Cataclysm, Half-Life, Independence War 1+2, Black and White, maybe Mechwarriors 3 and 4, and so the ...

Navigation is always a bit tricky. Now that the site's relatively stable I do want to look at it again, at some point. As you may have noticed, I've recently added links to "other main sections" on the left below the locally relevant links.Going by your own approach Dave, what you're sugge...
