An X-Bomber model kit? Maybe.
Well it's possible to do it quite small, I've made detailed wargaming mecha models at less than 6cm tall, but to be honest I think anything smaller than 15cm while possible, would just be a wasted opportunity that would do no justice to the ship and I or one would like a much larger scale model abou...

An X-Bomber model kit? Maybe.
Right question time, You've probably seen my CGI X-Bomber on here http://www.sfxb.co.uk/cgi-bin....;t=1183 or On Crash's site or deviantART. With the current state of 3D printing it is possible to make this into a real model and from there turn it into a resin model kit.Now I'm sure many of you woul...

Now it's fixed.
Well after Crash's remark last night, and my subsequent reply, I booted up the old girl and made a small tweak. I think that solves the problem.

3D X-bomber art
It's a possibility but even printing it at any reasonable scale is going to be very expensive, based on some of the other stuff I've had 3D printed in the past we're looking at more than £100 worth of ABS plastic for a model about 12 inches long and if we factor in a cut to the owner of the printer...

Thanks Vanessa, I've got much more planned along the way, including some more animations. Yes, they are indeed CAD models made in 3DS Max and I'm very familiar with 3D printing technology. I use it to create models for use in wargames. The downside to the technology however is the high cost of creat...

@Bradster, You're not the only one with no formal training in 3D design I myself am self taught, Luckily I have a good friend over of devianART who gave me some tips on doing some stuff in photoshop to make the textures look good. I also have a real problem with organic and curved shapes. I think i...

Well you're not wrong and there will be even more soon with me working on Makara's Cruiser. There's a few shots from the original end credits I was not a real fan of, specifically the part showing the connection of Mainbody and Legtrack so I replaced it with a different one that I felt would work as...

Thanks for bringing this to folks attention, I do hope you're enjoying the art. As you'll know BrainCom is finished as is Dai-X, and I have now made a start on the Imperial Cruiser. i'm hoping to have it done in a couple of weeks, time permitting. Andy has been a great help providing me with lots of...

Hi, Crash Overdrive pointed out some of my work a few weeks ago, and I felt I should shout out and show it and some more that has been done since. The hunt for F-01 begins. This was the first piece I did late last year. Still one of my favourites. DBNO (Down But Not Out). This is the latest piece I...
