I was thinking in the car the other day that maybe the Encyclopaedia that Vanessa uploaded might be of help for your project.

Very beautiful document that you send Crash. I had heard about the encyclopedia but I had never seen it. Very impressive.
I am even more impressed by the quality of star fleet.

Ah well, our friend Vanessa managed to find it at quite a lot of monetary cost.
Then it was professionally scanned and uploaded.
Any and all thanks go to her for that.

I don't think there is a plan-view of the alien battlecruiser but it might have some images that you mightn't see elsewhere.

So, how's the project going, Matsukami?
Have you made a start on it and what software are you planning on using to create your model?

I saw the model kit of the battlecruiser on Rinkya and it doesn't look very accurate from the photos. The wing dihedral is very wrong and the positioning of the antennas on the front of the ship mightn't be right either.

I want to see the finished model cos it'll help a lot with my game ☺

The project is going to fall behind because the model maker has of other one activities at the moment.
Nevertheless the project interests him largely, and I think that the project will be made.

Concerning the documentation, the plans 2d are just, I think of it, confirm it you?
Then for colors, we have good images.
I do not intend to use of IT software thus.
Concerning the model made on rinkya, I did not see him it, if you have photos.

I’m following up on this long-standing post.
I have not abandoned this project. On the contrary, I have been working on it for two years. I don’t post any pictures of the work in progress, but the work is well advanced.
Come to think of the painting of the cruiser and there are many interpretations.
According to my reference photo, I see a light grey colour in the main colour and a dark grey. These two colors remind me of the colors of the American aircraft carrier.
Now by studying various photos, this interpretation could be variable, depending on cironstances, dark backgrounds, matte painting, view above the headquarters of the land defense, view in space.
The representation varies from the aircraft carrier to shades of green.
What do you think?
I’m sending the photos.

In conclusion, there could be two colour pallets
a blue grey, my initial idea type aircraft carrier, navy of war in general

or
type grey slightly green

Colour analysis software gives different results for different photos.
