It's in the early stages, but here's a sneek peek of a termoid 3D model I am working on for The Revenge Of Makara.http://www.bigdaix.com/temp.htmShane.(Edited by Shane at 6:47 pm on Feb. 23, 2002)

And here's a squad of them within a 3D setting:http://www.bigdaix.com/temp1.htmI just need to complete the main Termoid model now, tail, claws, limbs etc. The head is only half finished, but I think it's definitely Termoid looking. I'm going to keep the humanoid body shape rather than try and recreate the stumpy look the original puppets had, the same will go for the other characters that I will eventually make for the project.Shane.

Good grief! HOW long haven't you had that package Shane?! I suppose it helps when you have an artistic bent anyway, but they look superb - Poser certainly seems to do the limbs brilliantly, I love that crouching one. Almost reminds me of the Terminator models, actually... I've downloaded Blender, it's just finding the time to get to grips with it...

I've tried using Blender, but with little sucsess. I just can't seem to get my head round it. Poser on the other hand is really geared up to arty farty types like myself. It's going to be a godsend for TROM. It was taking far to long to produce using traditional methods. Now I just need to create a character once, and then pose it. Fantastic. How the Star Fleet human characters translate will be interesting. They will definitely have a slightly different look than they did in the series. Lee and Hercules could proove problematic, thats why I'm sticking to robots and cyborgs for the time being.Shane.

Ah, perhaps that's why you have to pay for the Blender manual! I've come across a couple of sites with tutorials - but I've got several chunky manuals for stuff like Partition Magic and PSP7 to get through yet!

Here's a liddle animation (about 4 secs) of the basic termoid model.I've tried to add a little bit of character to his walk, rather than make it to robotic, as the termoids seemed to be cybernetic, like the rest of the Imperial characters in the show. You can download the 3mb AVI file from this page:Shane." target="_blank">http://www.bigdaix.com/termoidanimation.htmShane.
