Actually, Thundercats was amongst the "100 best cartoons"; I was glued to the TV throughout the whole 4 hours of the countdown. (I can't remember its position, though.)I thought Rugrats deserved to be higher than 40th. And they should have included Jana of the Jungle, and Chilly Willy.

You're right - I probably tuned in later on. But it shoulda been higher up. It seemed to me; that programme was essentially an advert for Channel 4's current raft of cartoons.

I learned from the programme that Mighty Mouse is much older than I thought; I assumed it dated from the early 80s, when I watched it; but I think it's actually older than my parents!Does anyone remember Batfink, with his wings like a shield of steel? He was a cute superhero, but (I think) omitted from the official Top 100.

Quote (Rachel @ 27 Mar. 2005,23:18)I learned from the programme that Mighty Mouse is much older than I thought; I assumed it dated from the early 80s, when I watched it; but I think it's actually older than my parents!Well, there have been three different series of Mighty Mouse cartoons (plus comic books)...the original '40s one, a late '70s one (cheap-looking Filmation) and a late '80s one (by Ralph Bakshi).[Happosai]

In the Thundercats comics, in 1987, the subsidiary serial was Power Pack (the girls were called Katy & Julie, but I have forgotten the boys' names). Was that ever on TV?
