Yes, I have got this in the right forum. The reason this is an update elsewhere is that I thought I'd try something new. So you might like to have a read of this and see what you think. It's not intended to be totally comprehensive, for obvious reasons, but it took a little while to do because I'm hoping it'll make the edited guide at some point, and that requires learning a variant of HTML and reading into what they want to go in...http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A769377

Not a bad write up at all Andy. I think that will spark off some memories in people as you have insolated all the points that makes the show different. Especially the "Big Red Robot"!

Yes, I hope so - already got some reaction from it and it's only been there a week. Having done some more reading it seems it could be some time before it makes the edited guide, if it does, but I'll let you know how it goes. It's an interesting idea, h2g2, and with the BBC supporting it it should keep going...

Well - not bad at all! Just over 2 weeks from posting it, my h2g2 entry has been submitted for entry into the edited guide by a scout! So all being well, in around a month or so it should be a part of the edited guide. It's more a kudos thing than anything else, but basically being in the edited guide means that your article conforms with certain h2g2 standards (which are actually quite tricky to meet in some respects) and so can be considered "better" than entries that haven't been elevated to edited status. Which is nice ;-) I encourage anyone who hasn't had a look at h2g2 to do so - there's a massively broad range of articles on absolutely everything going!
