...that the topic indicators in the forum were copied from Apple's fancy Mac OS X......and the Announcements icon is from Apple's older Plaintalk text-to-speech and voice recognition software.It's just a little something that made me smile as a big Mac user.

I'll bet you didn't notice...

That's funny - they're all default ones, but I think this board type's been around for a while; how old is Mac OS X? I've noticed quite a few common things around now like Fireworks default button anims and things like that. Would people like me to alter these icons at all? Wouldn't be a massively high priority I must admit but the option is there...

Nah, I see no need to change them. They look quite at home on my computer!Mac OS X was officially released March 23, 2001.However, developers received beta versions dating as early as January 2000.
