remebering Starfleet and something similar...

The one great thing about Starfleet, I think, is the plot. Death, traitors, sadness, loss, victory, who am I?, where do I come from?, are all interwoven into a great story. I could think of no other that had this great depth of realism. Everything else seemed to end on a hero-conquers-all note. The only similar thing I could think of was Final Fantasy VII, albeit the 'puter game. That had a massive plot with all those ingredients. That aside, I think there is little like it.

For me, that is the appeal of decent Japanese video games, anime (Japanese animation), manga (Japanese comic books), etc. -- they tend to have deep stories that usual leave their Western counterparts looking very one-dimensional.[Happosai]

Look at Dragon Ball - how much more in deapth could that get !Europe cartoons/shows are no where near as realistic (and I don't mean technology and what possible / not possible ) I mean "yes that charecter would do that" sort of thing
