I love the fact people are still finding new merchandise 30 odd years on. I think we must hoard as a species. Those are certainly not images I've seen, unless someone with the encyclopedia can set me right. I'll tell you what though - I don't think it's a poster. Look at the sheet with the print on it, and the sheet with nothing to do with Star Fleet (!) Then look at the Star Fleet one. Look closely. My guess would be, it's a sheet of stickers or postcards are similar. It looks like they would break apart, can you see the joins? So it might be a set of collectible cards perhaps? In fact, didn't I see someone mention a game here earlier - Star Fleet Top Trumps?! The mind boggles!

Edit - this was the game I was thinking of, although the images aren't the same, perhaps the principle is? http://www.ebay.com/itm/X-BOMBER-the-St ... 1314906994

How great is that? There's a lot there that I've not seen in my life.

This auction finishes very soon. I might see if Rinkya can help me to get it but at such short notice, I'm doubting it.

Looking on Rinkya, I found this: https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-u81125211
How great is that too?

Wow! Great finds!
I particularly like the sketch book, just because I want to see the other images inside it.

So that's only about twelve pounds then. The English translation is quite entertaining! The style of the inside image reminds me of the French comic books, but equally looks manga - I wonder which came first? Nice front cover too. Is this a typical Japanese auction site then? You have to arrange for someone to bid for you because they don't do international posting or something?

I love the cover of that colouring book. It just makes me want to fly the ship.

The poster is definitely a set of cards, as you say Andy, Google translate shows as much.

I think I'll shove a bid on it. Rinkya is the middleman on top of eBay Japan or wherever they index the items from.

Their system places the bid or order on your behalf. They watch the item get shipped to them in Japan and then they forward it to you.

Vanessa put me onto them and it was the only way I got the Japanese Remaster DVDs so fast.

Another thing is that their customer service is amazingly courteous.

Yeah Rinkya is good, not cheap, but good.
They pack items up extremely well.
We bought the X-Bomber Encyclopedia from there.

Agreed on not cheap but hey ...

So, did you just stalk the Encyclopaedia on there and wait for it to show or did they help find it for you?

It was months and months of watching and waiting. I have no idea if you can get Rinkya to "find" things for you.
Also, it wasn't cheap, as I recall there was a fierce bidding war over it.
