X-Bomber die-cast repaint

manage to get my hands on one of the x-bomber die-casts for $20 last week.
it was cheap as its not boxed and all the accessories were missing.

the one thing i always found annoying with these are the horrific colour scheme so i decided to do something about it.

so i took it apart,removed all the stickers gave it a coat of primer and base coat and then dug out my enamel paints and got to work.
its not turned out that bad.

This turned out really well.
It has the 'super-deformed' Gundam / Minimates / Pop! Vinyl look to it with the realistic colours and cute proportions.

I guess they made it red/white to make it co-ordinate with the Dai-X and be more appealing to children.
