does anybody know what has happened to the origional ships/dolls used in the series? do they still exist somewhere out there?

Topic moved here. Despite claims made in the past, no-one is sure what happpened to the props and it's likely they have been destroyed as Louis Elman stated that it was impossible to make a second series when he made enquiries in Japan for that reason.

thanks for the reply, i was reading some of the forum from a while ago and did some one say they had makara ,the origional doll and a battlecruiser,did he ever show the pics that were promised?

No, no evidence of those claims was ever provided. Aren't trolls fun?

Theres always an outside chance that a prop or two survived destruction. Recently, an extremely rare Japanese robot toy ($30000 rare) from the 70s - considered to be more or less legendary by collectors - turned up at the Bandai Museum in Japan. Its possible one or two of the production crew walked off with something small as a keepsake. However, barring minor miracles like that toy, its probably best to assume that nothings left until proved otherwise...
