Volume 4 NTSC

Post by AndyThomas »

Does anyone find volume 4 a little... wobbly? Mainly at the beginning. Just wondering if it's my tapes or a reproduction issue?

It's probably just your tape.A good friend of mine has a set of the 8 NTSC tapes plus several extra copies, all of them are originals with the cases. Some of them are damaged though from either age or overuse. One of his Volume 1 tapes, for example, is unwatchable for the last 10 minutes, but the other is just fine. Also, the CD-Rs I have are seem to play fine and they are just transfers from the NTSC tapes.

To be honest I'm being very picky - it only lasts a couple of minutes and it doesn't affect the viewing at all. But it's been the same on two versions, it may just be something I'm picking up on...

Both, huh?*digs out CDs*UGH! You're absolutely right! I had totally forgotten about that! I suppose this was a problem in reproduction, as you said.
