Missing scenes

Postby Bradster » Thu Jul 17, 2003 11:23 pm

The F Zero One web site (www.starfleetxbomber.co.uk) has a very thorough listing of scenes that were cut from the American VHS releases.See this page: US video releases. The images appear to be broken, but the links on the page still work. Click each of the box covers for pages with lists of cut scenes. For example, in Volume 1:Quote several cuts have been made...Episode 01 Epilogue and "next episode" teaser (39 seconds)Episode 02 Recap from previous episode (35 seconds)         Lamia is attacked by Alliance fighters as she tries to reach X-Bomber (2:40 mins)         The crew argue amongst themselves while trying to repair X-Bomber (1:06 mins)         Epilogue and "next episode" teaser (36 seconds)Episode 03 Recap from previous episode (15 seconds)

Some more spots here:http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~payres/starf ... tml#usaThe SFXB episode guide also makes reference to the cuts as you read through:http://www.sfxb.co.uk/episodes/stftepisodes16.htmlI hadn't realised DJDust's site covered the cuts - just goes to show how much info is out there. His linked-to images still seem to work, even though the on-page ones do seem to have gone...

Quote (Shaqui @ 23 July 2003,18:04)Quote (Scrog @ 17 July 2003,23:21)Does anyone know one any other cut scenes?.More to the point - do any of the cut scenes, or footage from them - appear on the compilations 'Space Quest' or 'Thalian Space Wars'?.Good question Shaqui - and not one I have an immediate answer to! I've never really gone into the videos in that much depth. It might be worth looking on the other sites - I think they set out what episodes appear on the compilations which might give you a clue.
