I'm not quite sure, I know Trapdoor was made by Cosgrove Hall, and that their most famous show: Dangermouse is currently available on DVD courtesy of Freemantle Home Entertainment. Maybe Freemantle have the rights to other Cosgrove Hall shows, like Trapdoor?Shane.

The old Trap Door videos are from Castle Home Video and also Universal Pictures, according to BlackStar...

They did 2 videos which cover all 24 episodes I think. I have the first video which is called 'Creepy Crawly adventures' if I remember without looking. They appear on Ebay from time to time but go for more than £10 on average.
