In the origional full episodes ,japaneese/french/english did they ever show the dai x seperating into the 3 ships and connecting back to x bomber?

No, but if you rewind the tape you'll get the same effect! Interesting point though - outside of Transformers and perhaps partially in Power Rangers if they're swapping an arm or whatever you very rarely see the inverse transformations.
