Lookin

Post by Rachel »

Changing the subject slightly, I have a query regarding Look-in. In one issue, (either 1984 or'85), there was a review of a book which sounded good. But as I sometimes lacked initiative in those days, I didn't order the book, and now can't remember the author or title. But it was about some 20th-century children going to an old house, seeing a painting of 2 old-fashioned kids and a little dog, then seeing their ghosts in the house.I don't suppose by any remote chance, anyone knows what the book was?

Not sure about the book, but it sounds a little like a film I remember seeing around then - two "modern" kids go back in time to help a brother and sister who lived in the house much earlier. Does that ring any bells? Might be worth browsing through a kids section or asking in a local bookshop.
