I had lunch with Ben Stevens the other day - great guy and he lent me some of his Terrahawks scripts. There are some interesting bits in there and it shows how things changed. For instance, Stew Dapples was originally called Jon and talked normally.I'm hoping the last three discs should feature some fantastic extras now. I can say we have Denise Bryer and Ben Stevens involved in something, but I'm not allowed to say anymore than that

There are six more DVDs to come out - the next three will contain 13 episodes (check the covers on my site - 4, 4 and 5 episodes) and the same for the final batch.

Stephen, please do tell me, how do you get these fabulous contacts? (Don't worry, I'm not requesting their confidential details, but I can't help enquiring how you manage to get to talk to these people, even have lunch with them?) You're so lucky! What is Ben like? What's he doing for a living these days? If you speak to him again, PLEASE tell him that I wish to marry Yung-Star, and that I could take 101 home. It will be a compliment to his voice-acting ability, as I think he did both of these characters?

>>Stephen, please do tell me, how do you get these fabulous contacts? I can't help enquiring how you manage to get to talk to these people, even have lunch with them?) You're so lucky!<<I am very lucky. I admit that. It is a cross between research and pure luck. You track down the details of one contact only to find that that contact knows another contact you'd like. And it progresses like that. I got Denise Bryer's telephone number from Elizabeth Morgan who was in Captain Scarlet. Liz got Ben Stevens the job on Terrahawks. I found Ben's number though his agent and he called me.>>What is Ben like? What's he doing for a living these days?<<He's still in voice overs and he's a terrific chap. And he can still do his voices perfectly >>If you speak to him again, PLEASE tell him that I wish to marry Yung-Star, and that I could take 101 home. It will be a compliment to his voice-acting ability, as I think he did both of these characters?<<He did - and I will tell him

Some time ago, before I even got the Thawks vids back in my life, I seem to remember finding a Ben Stevens website, and it had a photo of him, a dark-haired, cheerful-looking guy; and it said he was a newsreader. Is this the same person, do you reckon? When I searched for his name online more recently, I didn't find that site, and there were so many obviously irrelevant results, I didn't persevere through all the pages.I'm afraid I don't have any claims to fame as interesting to this forum, as you have, but I did once meet Nancy Cartwright, who does cartoon voices, at a booksigning session. At the time, I had a crush on one of her characters (Nelson Muntz) so I was well excited.

He's not a newsreader. And he doesn't have a net presence, though I am hopiing this may soon change...

Shaqui is quite right - it is though her invaluable help that I have found 90% of these people. Her research has been extensive and I wouldn't have been in contact with nearly as many people if it hadn't been for her.I wasn't overlooking you deliberatly Shaqui - honestly!
