Terrahawks Soundtrack

Post by Crash »

I've been having a look at the Terrahawks episodes courtesy of andersontv.co.uk.The incedental scores to this series are great - even far better than Star Fleet actually in my opinion.I was wondering if there was any way that someone could suggest of getting ahold of the soundtrack without having to join Fanderson and buying the CD ontop of paying a year's subscription?

I don't suppose the Kate Kestrel action-figures were musical, at all? Just checking...I have a gorgeous Sleeping Beauty doll (resplendent with ringlets, rosebud gown, and tiara) who plays the tune Once Upon a Dream when you turn the key in her back. I know from the Internet that there are many more of these musical character dolls; I'm thinking it would be great if there could be a Kate Kestrel doll, with the tune Be My Star Tonight. (That's probably the one which would sound best in a music-box format.)Some of the dolls have a small companion tucked under an arm: for example, I have my eye on the Little Mermaid one, who has a coral fish; and the Alice doll clutches a white rabbit to her. I'd like to design a Mary Falconer doll, with a little Zero as her companion! She would have to play the Terrahawks theme-tune when the key in her back was turned.

You can buy music box mechanisms that use punched paper strips to play the tunes and you can punch your own paper strips to make it play any tune of your choice (within reason), e.g. from here (may be available cheaper elsewhere). If you're a bit musical, it shouldn't be too difficult to transcribe the songs you mention and punch them onto paper strips. It's probably a bit too big to fit inside the action figure, but you could put it in a box and mount the figure on top of it.[Happosai]
