I collated about all the images that I could get about the expo in Tokyo earlier this month before they dropped off from twitter's search results. There are nearly 700 images of the expo on the site, totalling nearly 300MB. I have further images to add, kindly provided by Dan Hitchin, of the event from facebook. The expo has been given its own main folder in the Star Fleet section (click the image above), to allow categorisation into subdirectories. The catalog of the exhibition is absolutely fantastic. It runs to about 200 pages and is rammed with photos of the exhibits: taken in a studio, rather than from behind glass. It also has a lot of concept art that I've never seen before of the designs for the show from before it was supposed to be a marionation, but rather an anime show. It is clearly intended to be an exhibition substitute for anyone who couldn't make the event in person. The decision to make it both Japanese and English was a great idea, given that the show was successful in the West. To give an idea of cost, the 8,800 Yen + 2,000 for shipping ran to £67.
