X Bomber was first released on DVD in Japan in 2002.
The box set contains 6 discs and a 16-page booklet.

The DVD format is NTSC with region 2 encoding and a resolution of 720x540.
The picture is sharp with good contrast and a blueish tint.

The Space Quest English-language compilation movie on disc 6 appears to have been digitised from a VHS tape source then digitally upscaled to the same DVD resolution as above.
It appears not to have derived from any kind of master film.
The quality is correspondingly very average. The picture is blurry while colour and contrast are unremarkable. Screenshots feature on the site for curiosity and comparison purposes.
The compilation movie appears to have been included as an extra disc to give the Japanese market an idea of the end result of the show's English-language localisation.
